Senior Bowl still holding spot for Oregon QB Marcus Mariota

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) The Senior Bowl isn't giving up on Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota playing.

Executive director Phil Savage said Monday that "every indication has been that he has not been planning on coming." But he said that the Oregon quarterback hasn't signed with an agent.

If Mariota decides to play in Saturday's showcase game for NFL teams, he would be a fourth quarterback on the North team.
