Bercovici taking over for No. 15 Sun Devils

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) Mike Bercovici has been waiting for his opportunity three years now, since the day Taylor Kelly nudged him out as Arizona State's starting quarterback.

He initially considered leaving, but stuck it out despite spending most of his time on the sideline, watching instead of playing.

The patience paid off.
